
Initial Point Family Medicine is currently accepting most insurances. We are currently signed up with a majority of the health plans in the Treasure Valley. We are accepting new patients including those with Tricare. We also accept Workman's Compensation Insurance through the State of Idaho.
Unfortunately, we will no longer be accepting any new Medicaid or Medicare patients. Please check with the staff and/or your insurer to be certain. Also be aware that you must have photo identification with you at the time of service so we can verify all your information. An actual photo will be taken as well upon check-in by the front office staff. This is necessary to prevent insurance fraud and is intended to protect you. All new patients must supply us with a picture ID as well as their insurance card[s]. We expect that first time patient should be able to pay at the time of their first office visit. We will go out of our way to help you, but, ultimately the responsibilty rests with the patient to supply insurance information and proof of coverage.
We accept personal checks, cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover payments.
Please be aware that supplying your insurance information is your responsibility. The co-pay and deductible amounts that are specified by your insurance company MUST be paid at the time of service [this is required of you by your insurance carrier]. Failure on our part to collect co-payments and deductibles from our patients can be considered fraud. If you do not bring in your insurance information we may ask that you reschedule your appointment for a later date.
IPFM will work with you in good faith to provide ongoing medical care while we work with you to resolve any billing problems. Payment plans can easily be set up and if we feel that someone is not keeping up with payments or it is clear that the patient(s) is not cooperating, we may send your bill to a collection agency.
